Arsenal vs. A.C Milan Preview
March 4, 2008
Just to clear some Aussie stuff before we get onto the preview…
Zdrilic released, shame he was such a great player. No.
Zadkovich gone, decent player just slightly mad though.
Patrick gone, shame – he was young and did pop up with the odd goal and would’ve liked him to get a runout.
Uh, the visual side of the WordPress Posty Blog thing ain’t working so I’m forced to hard-code this in the code tab and since I don’t know how to code I guess that just means plain text.
Hopeful Arsenal Lineup left to right:
Formation: 4-3-3
Goalkeeper: Davepat Seaman-Jennings
Defenders: Nigkenny Wintersamson, Davmartin O’Learkeown, Steonvy Adabould, Leepat Ricedixon
Midfielders: Liam-Maroberct Brady-Piremars, Patray Vierparlour, Perry Groves
Strikers: Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Ian Wrightwrightwright
Probable Arsenal Lineup left to right:
Formation: 4-5-1
Goalkeeper: Manuel Almunia
Defenders: Clichy, Gallas, Senderos, Sagna
Midfielders: Walcott (but probably not), Diaby (please no), Flamini, Fabregas, Hleb
Striker: Adebayor
I’m not in a position to talk tactics.
So I won’t.
Everyone’s hyping this game up as some awesome make or break tie which it is don’t get me wrong but Jesus Christ Arsenal fans relax the hell up. I’m predicting a funnish (hopefully) 2-2 draw and hoping, hoping for a 2-0 win with an Ade goal and a Sagna rocketish from the right flank kind of Winterburn like goal.
This match has a touch of Aussieness to as good old Zeljko Kalac should be playing. I get surprised at how many people in Australia loathe Kalac. They call him shit and other horsey names and stuff – if you encounter a person who badmouths Kalac, ask them to find out any other mistakes he’s made down the track besides the whole of the Croatia game. Very little, the Schwarz has made more mistakes in the Boro goal (maybe due to that shit defense in front of him) and Kalac was top class at Sydney U and Roda JC.
Back to the actual match, we need to be work it, bake it, do it makes us stronger, better, faster, stronger – add some beats besides that and we get a chart hit! Let’s give the captaincy to someone obscure in the midfield like Flamini that doesn’t get as much recognition as the number 4 beside him and just watch us win 5-1 at the San Siro.
Hmm, don’t have any ideas besides that – do you?
Cheers until the match.

Nice Win! I just had the pleasure of watching West Ham get thumped 4-0 twice in a row!
