Good afternoon from a delightful day here in Sydney. For the past week here it’s basically been crap weather after crap weather after shit weather after a rather nice sunshower. It’s Spurs for us Gooners tommorow with a 6:55am kickoff on Fox Sports which I rather like. Morning kickoffs are great because you wake up, watch the game and ponce off somewhere else. 2am kickoffs are punishing in that you have to drink mug after mug of coffee and that isn’t particularly enjoyable.

The 50's was a great time.
The general point.

In terms of football news there’s been a decent amount of stuff coming from all quarters. Arsenal, A-League, Socceroos – it’s all coming down to the wire. Arsenal play Notsohotatthemomentfightingrelegationspurs, the A-League is going into finals mode and Verbeek calls out to the Europe guys and says, “Hey! The A-League players are pretty crap – come play against Qatar who are honestly more crap than the A-League players!.” On to Arsenal then.

ARSENAL:

We play the scurge of England tommorow morning (Australian time of course) and the media is going all wiggle-jiggle bounce bangs bonkers knackers Pam-An construction worker ert – yeah. Arsene is confident, and so am I.

Fabianski – who is probably going to start aganist for us – is also confident. Some good points made by him blah blah blah regular non-comedic blog things. Dawson reckons Spurs can beat us! Which brings me to my match preview in of course… Garfield form.

Garrrrrrrrrrah?
Can’t call our French guys cunts
because Chimbonda IS a french cunt.

If you cannot tell, I’m feeling confident about the Tottenham Hotsperm game. Although Hotsperm is a bit hypocritical considering you know… David Seaman. Only on this blog would you get that sort of talk.

Transfer rumours now and Neymar is linked to us.
We can’t actually sign him, no one can until he’s 16 years of age so I don’t know why media is reporting on it now. Neymar is apparently the new Ronaldinho in the same way Ronaldinho was the new Rivaldo in the same way Rivaldo was the new Romario in the same way Romario was the new Rivelino in the same was Rivelino was the new Tostao in the same way Tostao was the new Pele in the same way Pele was… Well Pele was the best one. Want something else pointless?

Not a big fan of Roy Keane too.

Not really a fan of Keane.

Russia captain Andrei Arse-Shaving wants a move to England.
Apparently Wenger scouted him. Now let me be Frank -

Who gives Lano. Who gives.
Quote Woodley -
“I feel like a bit of a dickhead.”

- Arsenal scouts are everywhere. The media follow our scouts and pick up on every little player we look at. Now when was the last time the media was right without external confirmation? Bakary Sagna? Wrong. The chairman basically confirmed Arsenal wanted him. Gallas? Wrong. Mourinho and Arsene both confirmed Arsenal’s intrest. The media have never “guessed” right. Has Arsene ever lied in terms of transfers? Never. When we went for Nordveit Arsene basically said yes to his transfer.

Diarra being himself.

Boiled please.

Enough of Arsenal. On to A-League news.

HYUNDAI A-LEAGUE:

Ben Buckley talks things such as the A-League getting bigger, prize money for the Champions League spots. He also talks Youth-League which is great news as it means you know, you have a League Zdrillic can score in. Joel Griffiths hails his new teammate Song Jin-Hyung and calls him Brazilian. He’s friends with Dennibon apparently which will help him settle. Joel Griffiths likes him some Brazilian Korean.

Hopefully not that guy.

Mark Bridges is gone. He didn’t do much, apart from one or two good performances. He was used pretty sparingly under Kosmina and semi-sparingly under Branko. Good bloke but he didn’t perform as well as he could. Should’ve played Patrick more, but Patrick has been out with a broken ankle or something. Honestly Patrick has been struggling all season with injury.

Photoshop.

Tiatto regrets the red.
That’s why you eat the Crunchy tackle instead of you know… Left jab. Archie regrets the shit team around him and the lack of goals because Melbourne are dipshits who took our Champions League spot away. Kossie wants a “goal sniffer.” *Patrick*. Victory sign a kid from a state league – whoopdefreakinwhat. Mariners celebrating the only trophy that they’ll get ever. Mariners celebrating still the only trophy that they’ll get ever. MORE LINKS! Mariners go to China.

I’m a Jet Li fan myself. Shoalin Soccer was a cool
movie though, craaaazy loco.

That’s about all there is on the A-League. Don’t need to cover any A-League matches for a while which is nice. Which is nice. Covering Arsenal games and A-League games is way different. Arsenal act like professionals, and as much as I admire it thats a bit boring. I missed it when Adams was an alcho. A-League games – well every round you get a scuffle or a dumb thing that happens and THEN, THEN I can make a you know – Tiatto boxing joke or something. On to Socceroos then.

SOCCEROOS:

Kosmina hates Pim.
Kosmina likes Pim.
Milligan wants to play against Qatar which is fair. He’s a solid player and could do a job for a club in Europe (NUREMBURG COLONY) and he deserves his chance. He’s had a crap month to be honest though and I can’t really see him breaking straight it. Also, Verbeek wants more of the Euro contingent to play. Honestly he doesn’t need to risk them, Qatar are good but at the end of the day we are the better team. Cahill, Culina, Carle and maybe Carney and Chipperfield – Odd how all of their names start with a “C” – can do the job. Maybe we can get Kennedy or one of the Germany lads in. Spiranovic needs a cap before Croatia poach him I reckon. What’s all this talk about Richard Porta about? He seems decent enough, why don’t we do some poaching for once?

Well that’s me rant for today, allabaloo and all that.
I’ll have the Arsenal vs. Spurs match report up tommorow. Promise it won’t be a Garfield comic.

Until then, buh-bai.
(And pimp out this blog any readers out there. I need readers so I can you know, domination of world and all that.)
